CBDT notifies Partial Relaxation of Electronic Submission of Form 10F by certain Taxpayers

The CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes) has issued a notification on partial relaxation for the electronic submission of Form 10F. This notification was issued on 12th December, 2022.

According to the present notification, there will be an exemption on the mandatory filing of Form 10F till 31st March, 2023.

This benefit will be available to non-resident (NR) taxpayers who are not required to and do not have PAN (Permanent Account Number). This category of taxpayers will have to file form 10F till 31st March, 2023. They can do so through a manual form as was done prior to the issuance of the DGIT (Systems) Notification.
