Odisha Renewable Energy Policy, 2022

All large hydro, small hydro, ground-mounted solar, rooftop solar, floating solar, canal top solar, wind, biomass, energy storage (including pumped storage hydro, 4 battery energy storage system), waste-to-energy, green hydrogen/green ammonia projects or any other renewable energy technology and new initiatives/ pilot projects commissioned in the State of Odisha during the Policy period shall be guided by this Policy.

The Punjab Govt. notifies the PSERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Generation, Transmission, Wheeling and Retail Supply Tariff) Regulations, 2022

The Regulations prescribe the principles for determination of Tariff and Norms for Operation for Transmission Business and SLDC Business. The Regulations also detail the requirements for filing of Business Plan/Multi-Year Tariff/True Up/Aggregate Revenue. Annexure A of the Regulation states the Segregation of ARR of Wheeling and Retail Supply Business.

Odisha Govt launches scheme on One Time Settlement of Arrear Electricity Duty and Interest

The Scheme of One Time Settlement (OTS) of arrear electricity duty and interest will be applicable to consumers who generate energy for their own use or consumption (Captive consumers). As per the scheme interest would be charged at a reduced rate of interest @ 9% per annum for those Captive Power Plants (CPPs) who want to avail the benefits of the scheme.

ESIC Office of Haryana Govt. issues instructions on compliance with ESI Act, 1948

MCA registered companies/ establishments/ units/ factories must ensure compliance with various applicable provisions of Employee State Insurance (ESI) Act, 1948 from the date they reach the threshold limit of employees. Companies registered through MCA portal that do not fall under the purview of the statutory provisions of the ESI Act, 1948 are given certain exemptions. All concerned units must comply with the notification or may face legal action in default.
