The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on December 02, 2022 has notified that the Central Motor Vehicles (Twenty-second Amendment) Rules, 2022. The amendment provides that every armored vehicle shall comply with the standards in these rules, subject to the exemptions specified in AIS-194:2022, as amended from time to time.
The amendment shall come into force on December 02, 2022.
