The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on November 30, 2022, issued a notification regarding SCOMET Updates 2022. The revised list of Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment and Technologies (SCOMET) as per SCOMET Updates 2022 shall come into effect after 30 days from November 30, 2022.
This extension is issued to ensure that transition time is provided to the industry.
