A person acting as an online bond platform provider without the certificate of registration on or prior to the date of this regulation coming into force, may continue to do so for a period of three months from the date of this regulation coming into force or such other time period as may be specified by the Board, or if it has made an application for grant of a certificate of registration within the specified period, till the disposal of such application by the Board

Government of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has directed all the factories and establishments to pay bonus to their eligible workers in accordance with the provisions of the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.

It is reiterated that the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 is in force in Dadra & Nagar Haveli which is applicable to all employees, irrespective of status, drawing a salary or wages not exceeding Rs.21, 000/- per month. For the purpose of this Act, salary and wages will include the basic wages and dearness allowance.

IBBI rescinds the circulars superseded by new regulations

IBBI has rescinded the previous circulars superseded by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Professionals) Regulations, 2016 [IP Regulation] or the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Model Bye-Laws and Governing Board of Insolvency Professional Agencies) Regulations, 2016 [Model Bye-Laws Regulations] or the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Information Utilities) Regulations, 2017.

CERC commences operation of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2022

This regulation shall be applicable to all grid connected regional entities and other entities engaged in inter-State purchase and sale of electricity. It seeks to ensure, through a commercial mechanism that users of the grid do not deviate from and adhere to their schedule of drawal and injection of electricity in the interest of security and stability of the grid.

Central Government prescribes mandatory renewable energy generating capacity for coal/lignite based thermal generation stations

In order to promote renewable energy sources, any generating company proposing to establish a coal/lignite based thermal generation station after a specified date shall be required to establish such renewable energy generating capacity or procure and supply renewable energy equivalent to such capacity, as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time after due consultation with stakeholders.
