The Central Motor Vehicles (Seventeenth Amendment) Rules, 2022.

The amendment is brought under rule 175 which deals with Registration Procedure for Automated Testing Station in which under sub-rule 3A, the Central Government shall set up an electronic portal for Single Window Clearance on which the applicant will apply and upload documents and required fee for registration.

Ministry of Education extends the last date for submission of applications for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) till 15th November, 2022.

The National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is boarded on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – a one stop platform for scholarship schemes given to students. NMMSS scholarships are disbursed directly into the bank accounts of selected students by electronic transfer through Public Financial Management System (PFMS) following DBT mode. This is a 100% centrally sponsored scheme.

Draft Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022

The amendment clarifies that if a person has acquired MBBS qualification in India and PG qualification from any of the five English speaking countries, then he/she shall be eligible for registration in India as specialist and if, after acquiring PG qualification, he/she has been working in a teaching hospital, then depending on his/her teaching experience in medical sciences, he/she shall be considered for teaching job in medical college in India.

SEBI restricts activities of clearing corporations

Clearing Corporation shall not undertake any activity except that of clearing and settling transactions in repo and reverse repo in the debt securities that are dealt with or traded on a recognized stock exchange.
