The Surrogacy (Regulation) Amendment Rules, 2022.

The intending couple/woman shall sign an affidavit to be sworn before a Metropolitan Magistrate or a Judicial Magistrate of First Class or an Executive Magistrate or a Notary Public giving guarantee as per the clause (q) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021.

FSSAI issues order on requirement of registration of foreign food manufacturing facilities as per FSS (import) 1st Amendment regulation, 2021.

The competent authority of all the exporting countries are requested to provide the list of existing manufacturers and of those who are intended to export such food products to India as per the notified format . based on the list provided by the competent authority of exporting country, the registration of such facilities will be done by the food safety and standards authority of India at its portal.

PCI issues clarification on minimum qualification for pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.

The Central Government on the recommendations of the Pharmacy council of India constituted under section 3 of Pharmacy Act, 1948, decided that a person holding the Pharm D qualification being higher qualification shall automatically become eligible for appointment to various posts where a person holding diploma in pharmacy or bachelor of pharmacy or master of pharmacy qualification is eligible to be appointed.

SEBI directions pertaining to Electronic Book Provider (EBP) platform

The circular specifies the issuances which must necessarily be made through EBP, the eligible participants, obligations/ responsibilities of various entities, the provision to an issuer to withdraw offers, the process of bidding and allotment, etc. The other stipulations of the existing EBP framework like threshold limits for applicability, Bidding limits for arrangers, Penalty in case of default etc. have also been modified.

RBI guidelines for bank loan ratings

It is recommended that bank loan ratings to not use the declarations issued by the External Credit Assessment Institutions. These guidelines will take effect on March 31, 2023.
