All the aggrieved taxpayers who wish to file or revise TRAN-1/2 are hereby informed that the present process flow of TRAN filing is different from the filing process in the financial year 2017-18. As per the present flow the transitional credit availed by the taxpayer in TRAN-1/2 forms shall be verified by the jurisdictional tax officer before the credit entry is made in the respective ledgers.
MNRE notifies Production Linked Incentive Scheme under National Programme on high efficiency solar PV modules.
The objective of the scheme is to build up solar PV manufacturing capacity of high efficiency modules and to bring cutting-edge technology to India for manufacturing high efficiency modules. The scheme will be technology agnostic in that it will allow all technologies.
Deemed license for import/manufacture of Class A or Class B Medical Devices
The importer/manufacturer can continue to import /manufacture the said device(s) up to 6 months from the date of issue of this order or till the time, the Central Licensing Authority or State Licensing Authority, as the case may be, takes a decision on the said application, whichever is earlier.
Modified scheme for setting up of Semiconductor facilities in India
The modified scheme is issued with the objective to attract investments for setting up Compound Semiconductors / Silicon Photonics (SiPh) / Sensors (including MEMS) Fabs/ Discrete Semiconductors Fabs and Semiconductor ATMP / OSAT facilities in the country to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem and help establish a trusted electronics value chain in the areas of application of these fabrication and packaging technologies.

DGFT extends due date for application for TRQ for the third quarter of the FY 2022 – 2023
The application for revalidation shall be submitted through the import management system in the DGFT website. The last date for application for Tariff Rate Quota for the third quarter of the financial year 2022 – 2023 is extended till 10 October, 2022.
