MNRE issues clarification on applicability of central financial assistance (CFA) available under Rooftop Solar (RTS) Programme Phase-II for solar systems installed under Virtual Net Metering (VNM) arrangement.
The Ministry is implementing Rooftop Solar (RTS) Programme Phase-II and providing CFA for installation of RTS plant in residential sector by individual household or by GHS/RWA. Some of the States and UTs are having provision of Virtual Net Metering, wherein a group of consumers of a Distribution company can install a solar plant within the area of the same company and avail benefits of net metering against the solar powered into the grid from that solar plant.
IRDAI issues circular on filing of products/riders for life insurance business.
The insurers were also allowed to introduce certain types of new products/riders under U&F process in the market in a timely manner according to the dynamic needs of the market. Based on feedback from Insurers/Appointed Actuaries, a prompt review of various circulars relating to filing of products was conducted and appropriate modifications have been carried out.
DGFT issues clarification on export of policy rice.
Therefore it has clarified that in respect of normal rice that “Rice (5% and 25%) is already exempted as it is not broken rice but normal rice with permissible limits of broken rice as per standards, however, it shall carry 20% duty as per the notification.
SEBI issues clarification on Execution of ‘Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction’ (DDPI) for transfer of securities towards deliveries / settlement obligations and pledging / re-pledging of securities.
Securities transferred on the basis of the DDPI provided by the client shall be credited to client’s TM pool account / CM pool account / demat account of clearing corporation, as the case may be. The DDPI provided by the client shall be registered in the demat account of the client by TM /CM. Stock Exchanges and Depositories shall ensure that stock broker/stock broker and depository participant providing DDPI facility, has enabled its clients to revoke / cancel the DDPI provided by them
The Medical Devices (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2022.
As per the new rule, the State Licencing Authority shall appoint Licensing Authorities for the purpose of issuing registration certificate under this Part for such areas as may be specified. Any person who intends to sell, stock, exhibit or offer for sale or distribute a medical device including in vitro diagnostic medical device, shall make an application in Form MD-41 to the State Licensing Authority for grant of registration certificate to sell, stock, exhibit or offer for sale or distribution.
NMC directs medical colleges to submit affidavit for renewal or increase of intake of MBBS seats
Upon failure to submit affidavit in the prescribed format, the application for renewal shall not be considered during the academic year 2022-2023.
