Issuance of Debit Cards by IFSC Banking Units (IBUs).
IBUs may issue Debit cards to their customers holding a Current or Savings account with them. Withdrawal of cash in IFSC, using Debit cards issued by IBUs, is not permitted. Withdrawal of cash using Debit cards issued by IBUs, in jurisdictions outside IFSC, is permitted subject to the rules and regulations of the said jurisdiction. All other transactions including making online payments, undertaking PoS transactions, funds transfer etc. using Debit cards issued by IBUs is permitted
FSSAI issues circular regarding payment of application fee for endorsement of Vegan logo.
It is clarified that no physical cheque or demand drafts will be accepted by the food authority. The Food Business Operators (FBOs) desirous of applying for endorsement of vegan logo are directed to submit the application fee of Rs. 5,000/- (excluding GST) through online e-payment portal.
The Hydrogen Peroxide (Quality Control) Order, 2022.
As per the order, Hydrogen peroxide shall conform to the India standard of IS 2080: 2021 and shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
National Cancer Grid (NCG) Establishes New Centre for Digital Oncology to improve Cancer Care using Digital Technologies.
The National Cancer Grid (NCG) is an initiative of the Government of India through the Department of Atomic Energy and its grant-in-aid institution, the Tata Memorial Centre, to create a network of cancer centres, research institutes, patient groups and charitable institutions across India with the objective of developing uniform standards of patient care for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
SEBI modifies Master Circular for depositories on opening of demat account in case of HUF.
In the event of death of Karta of HUF, the name of the deceased Karta in the Beneficial Owner (BO) account shall be replaced by the new Karta of the HUF who in such a case shall be eldest coparcener in the HUF or a coparcener who is appointed as Karta by an agreement reached amongst all the coparceners of the HUF
CBDT grants income tax exemption to Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board
CBDT has extended the tax exemption provided to statutory bodies under Section 10(46) if the Income Tax, Act, 1960 to Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board.
