Ministry of Food Processing Industries notifies scheme for creation of infrastructure for agro processing clusters (APC).
The objective of the scheme is to create modern infrastructure for food processing closer to production areas and to provide integrated and complete preservation infrastructure facilities from farm gate to the consumers and to create effective backward and forward linkages by linking groups of producers/farmers to food processors and markets through well-equipped supply chain.
Ministry of Information & Broadcasting issues advisory to digital media to refrain from advertising online betting platforms.
Betting and gambling, illegal in most parts of the country, pose significant financial and socio-economic risk for the consumers, especially youth and children, the advisory states. It has further added that these advertisements on online betting have the effect of promoting this largely prohibited activity.

The eligible sectors under this scheme includes, Fruits & vegetables processing, Milk Processing, Meat/ poultry/ fish processing, Ready to Eat/ Ready to Cook Food Products/ Breakfast cereals/ Snacks/ bakery and other food products including nutritional health foods, Grains/ pulses, oil seed milling and processing based on modern technology and Any other sector that makes food products fit for human consumption.

Discontinuation of requirement to file Statement for reporting of non-resident guarantees
It is clarified that ‘Statement for reporting of non-resident guarantees issued and invoked in respect of fund and non-fund based facilities between two persons resident in India has now been decided to be discontinued with effect from the quarter ending June 2022.
The Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2022
The generating company or licensee shall maintain records of the maps, plans and sections relating to supply or transmission of electricity and submit the same to the Electrical Inspector for inspection as and when required by him and the licensee shall also be required to submit the records of consumers to the Electrical Inspector.
