UGC issues Draft Guidelines on Research Internship with Faculty and Researchers at Higher Education Institutions/Research Institutions.
The Objective of the Guidelines is to create conditions conducive for students to exercise a quest for knowledge and its discovery and applicability for solving research/ complex/ real-life problem and to provide the opportunities to the UG students to learn, understand and sharpen the research acumen, as well as the communication/ technical/managerial skills required for conducting research.

The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platform has been developed by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) of Ministry of Electronics and lnformation Technology (MeitY) under DigiLocker framework, with facility/functionality of opening Academic Account by the students and on-boarding of Higher Educational lnstitutions (HEls).
UGC invites applications from eligible HEIs for ODL and online programmes.
The online portal for submitting applications shall remain open from 15th May 2022 to 31st May 2022. The HEIs is required to submit application at https://deb.ugc.ac.in/Proposal/Application_Selection. The duly certified hard copy of the application along with original affidavit and annexure shall be submitted before 15th June 2022 at the address, Joint Secretary, Distance Education Bureau, UGC 35, Feroze Shah Road, New Delhi- 11001.
SEBI issues guidelines for brokers, clearing members seeking to set up subsidiaries in GIFT-IFSC.
The Stock Brokers and Clearing Members shall apply through a Stock Exchange where the applicant is a member, along with the required information, documents and NOC received from all Stock Exchanges/Clearing Corporations/Depositories in which the applicant is a member/participant.
Third tranche of interim recommendations of Regulations Review Authority of RBI
RRA had recommended withdrawal of an additional 239 circulars in the third tranche. With this, the total number of circulars which stand withdrawn would be 714.
