MCA issues guidelines for funding for research studies on corporate governance.
Institutions/Organisations/Agencies which are registered under the statute of the Central or State Governments such as Societies Act, Trust Act, Co-operatives Act, Companies Act, etc. with normally 3 years research experience after registration or UGC approved academic/research institution engaged in research activities and fulfilling the following Expertise and Standing specifications will be eligible to apply for funding/ grant-in-aid under these guidelines.
Ministry of Power notifies measures for Operationalising imported Coal Based Plants (ICB).
To restart their operations, the ICB plants which are under stress or in NCLT need working capital to buy coal and start generating power. In view of the above, it is directed to take necessary action to arrange short term loans for a period of 6 months with adequate safeguards, for such plants at the earliest.

Ministry of Ports issues guidelines for reviving stressed projects.

Education Ministry issues guidelines regarding precautions to be observed by schools to combat the ill-effects of the heat-wave.
As per the guidelines, school bus or van should not be over-crowded and it shall not carry students more than the seating capacity. Drinking water and First Aid Kit should be available in the bus and van. Students coming to school on foot or bicycle should be advised to keep their head covered.
Revised framework to Enable Verification of Upfront Collection of Margins from Clients in Cash and Derivatives segments
It has been decided that the margin requirements to be considered for the intra-day snapshots, in derivatives segments (including commodity derivatives), shall be calculated based on the fixed Beginning of Day (BOD) margin parameters. The BOD margin parameters would include all SPAN margin parameters as well as ELM requirements.
Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022
The amendment provides that no Collective Investment Management Company or a promoter of a Collective Investment Management Company, their associates or group companies, through the schemes of the Collective Investment Management Company or otherwise, individually or collectively, directly or indirectly, have Ten percent or more of the shareholding or voting rights in the Collective Investment Management Company or the trustee company of any other Collective Investment Management Company.
