Income-tax Amendment (Thirteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022
The amendment provides that income accrued or arisen or attributed to, or received by, the specified person, who is a unit holder of an Alternative Investment Fund, out of investment made in that fund, shall be chargeable to income-tax in the same manner as if it were the income accrued or arisen or attributed to, or received by, such person had the investment made by such investment fund been made directly by him.
Telangana government mandates contribution of 10% of Boilers Certificates fee towards the Telangana Green Fund
The Telangana has therefore ordered that every boiler user shall contribute and remit ten (10) percentage or not exceeding maximum amount of Rs.1000/- while paying the fee for the Registration of New Boilers and Renewal of Boilers Certificates fee prescribed towards the Telangana Green Fund from 01.04.2022.
Extended deadline for registration of MSMEs in Udyam Registration portal
An MSME registered prior to 30th June, 2020 that haven’t obtained Udyam registration shall continue to be valid only for a period up to the 30th day of June, 2022.
Guidelines for Determination of Tariff by Bidding Process for Procurement of Power by Distribution Licensees
The escalation rates for inland transportation charges for coal up to 2000 Km distance shall be 32.50%. These Annual Escalation Rates shall be applicable for the period from 01.04.2021 to 30.09.2021 for the purpose of payment for Procurement of Power by Distribution Licensees as per the Power Purchase Agreement entered into under the guidelines.
