Government of Goa has enhanced the wage rate under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (MGNREGA).
The mandate of the Act is to provide at least 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in a financial year to every rural household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. The Act incentivises States to provide employment, as 100 per cent of the unskilled labour cost and 75% of the material cost of the programme is borne by the Centre.

RBI issues notification on Review of Minimum Investment Grade Credit Ratings for Deposits of NBFCs.
As per the earlier notification dated in 2016, non-banking finance companies with net owned funds of 25 lakh rupees and above need to obtain a minimum investment grade or other specified credit ratings for fixed deposits from any one of the approved credit rating agencies at least once a year to accept public deposits.
DGFT extends due date for import of de-oiled GM soya cake
For import of remaining Quantities of 5.5 Lakh MTs allowed as per notification dated 24.08.2021, the last date of imports is extended to 30th September 2022. Strict monitoring of import quantity shall be ensured by Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAH&D) so that the mandated quantity is not breached.
