SEBI streamlines the process of public issues and redressal of investor grievances.
SEBI notifies a new reporting format for capturing the data of all ASBA (Application Supported by Block Amount) applications unblocked by SCSBs (Self Certified Syndicate Banks) and their corresponding date of actual unblock. This new format has been put in place after reviewing the performance of SCSBs on timely unblocking of application amounts and feedback received from market intermediaries.

In order to ensure the uniqueness of the assets of the issuer offered as security, appropriate validation/ duplicate checks based on parameters identified for each asset type have been put in place in the system. DCI directs counselling authorities to issue allotment number & date for students at each round of Counselling.
DCI had earlier directed all the college authorities of dental colleges to upload the complete details of students admitted in UG/PG Courses at their dental institutions for each academic session, on DCI Website. While uploading the students’ details “allotment letter number and date” are mandatory fields, but it has come in the notice of DCI that “allotment letter number and date” are not being issued by counselling authorities of some states.
Labour Ministry extends the public utility service status for aluminum segment services.
The services in industry Manufacturing of Alumina and Aluminium’ and ‘Mining of Bauxite’ which is covered by item 30 and 31 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) have been declared earlier be a Public Utility Service for a further period of six months from 16th October 2021, which has now been further extended for another six months with effect from 16th April 2022.
Environment Impact Assessment Notification amended to clarify approval process for integrated mining projects
The amendment provides that mining projects shall continue to be considered at Central level or State level, as the case may be, as per the extant threshold for mining projects.
