CERC publishes Draft Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Renewable Energy Certificates for Renewable Energy Generation) Regulations, 2022.
An eligible entity which has been granted accreditation for Certificates or deemed to have been granted accreditation for Certificates under these regulations, shall be eligible for grant of registration for Certificates by the Central Agency in accordance with the Procedure for Registration for Certificate to be issued by the Central Agency as part of the Detailed Procedure.
IRDAI issues clarification on holding more than one certificate of registration to one group.
It is clarified that where the ‘applicant’ as defined under Regulation 2(b) of the IRDAI (Registration and Operations of Branch Offices of Foreign Reinsurers other than Lloyd’s) Regulations, 2015 falls within a group, no other entity of that group shall be eligible to apply for Certificate of Registration to act as Foreign Reinsurance Branch in India.
Government of Goa has notified the tax rates on entertainment, registration and advertisement.
As per the revised rates, the property tax for residential building is Rs 40 per square metre and for Commercial or Industrial building it is Rs 200, per square metre.The Tax on Entertainment other than cinematograph shows, is 200Rs per entertainment and the fees on bus stand shall be Rs, 100 per bus per day.
CBIC issues clarification regarding applicability of Social Welfare Surcharge on goods exempted from basic and other customs duties/cesses.
The Social Welfare Surcharge (SWS) is levied and collected, as a duty of customs, vide Section 110 of the Finance Act, 2018 (13 of 2018) and is calculated at the rate of 10 per cent. on the aggregate of duties, taxes and cesses which are levied and collected by the Central Government as a duty of customs on goods imported into India.
NPPA issues MRP of new drug formulations
The manufacturer shall issue a price list in Form–V to NPPA through IPDMS and submit a copy to State Drug Controller and dealers.
