Acitretin is one of the systemic retinoids used in medicine particularly in dermatological diseases and has a serious side effect profile particularly pregnancy related (teratogenic drug). A teratogen is an agent that can disturb the development of the embryo or fetus. Teratogens halt the pregnancy or produce a congenital malformation (a birth defect). Classes of teratogens include radiation, maternal infections, chemicals and drugs.
Ministry of New and Renewable Energy issues simplified procedure to install rooftop solar plant for the residential consumers.
The household beneficiary, who wishes to install Rooftop Solar (RTS) under the new mechanism will apply on the national portal. The beneficiary will be required to submit necessary information including details of bank account where the subsidy amount will be transferred. At the time of application, the beneficiary will be informed about the complete process and subsidy amount that can be availed for installation of the RTS plant.

FSSAI clarification regarding Recommended Dietary Allowance for consumers of different age groups and physiological conditions
It is clarified that in case of foods which are targeted to a specific age group or physiological condition, respective RDAs maybe considered for declaring per serve percentage RDA issued based on Recommended Dietary Allowance prescribed by Indian Council of Medical Research.
Clarification regarding uploading the details of students to be admitted in MDS Courses on DCI Website
The Dental Colleges facing any difficulty in uploading the details of foreign students in the absence of registration with respective State Dental Council, on DCI website, after admissions, are hereby again advised to send complete details of admission of such foreiqn student to this Council by e-mail on or before 12.00 midnight of 3rd February, 2022.
