The Conformity Assessment Scheme, which is based on combination of product certification and management system along with process requirements, if applicable, the Bureau may grant licence to use or apply Standard Mark for goods or article manufactured in a manufacturing premises which conform to all requirements of Indian Standards for that product and demonstrates conformity of management system to the relevant Indian Standards and conformity to process requirements, as specified.

The Labour Ministry extends the public utility service status on uranium industry for another 6 months.
The Ministry had earlier granted an extension to the uranium industry for a period of six months, starting from 19th June 2021. This has now been extended for another six months with effect from 19th December 2021.

The Ministry has lastly declared the said industries to be public utility services for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months from 24th June 2020. However, it has now further extended the period for another six months with effect from 24th December 2021, in the public interest.
Clarification regarding Conduct of Post mortem in Hospitals after sunset
However, cases under categories such as homicide, suicide, rape, decomposed bodies and suspected foul play should not be subjected for post mortem during night time unless there is a law and order situation. Post-mortem for organ donation should be taken up on priority and be conducted even after sunset, if adequate infrastructure is available.

It has been decided to allow companies to conduct their EGMs through Video Conference (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means till (OAVM) or transact items through postal ballot t 30th June, 2022.

It has been decided to allow the companies whose AGMs are due in the Year 2021, to conduct their AGMs on or before 30th June 2022.
