CBIC releases new rates of exchange for conversion of foreign currencies into Indian currency

the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs vide notification dated 2nd December, 2021 has determined that the rates of exchange of conversion of following foreign currencies into Indian currency or vice versa.:

  1. Australian Dollar
  2. Bahraini Dinar
  3. Canadian Dollar
  4. Chinese Yuan
  5. Danish Kroner
  6. EURO
  7. Hong Kong Dollar
  8. Kuwaiti Dinar
  9. New Zealand Dollar
  10. Norwegian Kroner
  11. Pound Sterling
  12. Qatari Riyal
  13. Saudi Arabian Riyal
  14. Singapore Dollar
  15. South African Rand
  16. Swedish Kroner
  17. Swiss Franc
  18. Turkish Lira
  19. UAE Dirham
  20. US Dollar
  21. Japanese Yen
  22. Korean Won

The new rates shall be in force with effect from 3rd December, 2021.
