FSSAI issues clarification on licensing/registration of FBO manufacturing Indian Sweets and Snacks & Savouries.
The FBOs who obtain license/registration under the food category 18 shall not be bound to mention the food category or sub categories of 18 on the label of such products. The said requirement is only in case of proprietary food wherein the nearest category is to be declared on the product label.
FSSAI issues Advisory on disposal of food products unfit for human consumption.
If the food product get expired or recalled and is unfit for human consumption, the Food Business Operator shall ensure timely removal of such products for the food supply chain to prevent distribution and consumption.
SEBI mandates exchanges to display complaint against them on website.
As per the format provided by SEBI, data of complaints against the exchanges or the clearing corporations having commodity derivatives segment has to be displayed, and these include complaints received directly from investors, Sebi SCORES and other sources and shall also mention the average resolution time.

DGFT has amended the export policy for syringes with or without needles from “free” to “restricted”
SEBI issues circular on discontinuation of usage of pool accounts for transactions in MF unit.
The AMCs shall put in place necessary systems to ensure that transactions of funds and units pertaining to subscription as well as redemption are directly done between the accounts of the investors and the mutual fund scheme accounts concerned. There will not be any intermediate pooling.

DGFT allocates quantity of sugar to be exported to EU under TRQ scheme
The DGFT has allocated the quantity of 5841 MT sugar (raw and/or white sugar) to be exported to EU under TRQ scheme from 01.10.2021 to 30.09.2022.
