The Madras High Court bench of Justice Anand Venkatesh in a ground breaking judgment asked the Union government to ban any attempts to medically “cure” or change the sexual orientation of LGBTIQA+ persons, thus banning conversion therapy.

Homoeopathy Central Council (Minimum Standards Requirement of Homoeopathic Colleges and attached Hospitals) Amendment Regulations, 2021
The amendment provides that every homoeopathic medical college shall have Close-Circuit Televisions (CCTV) system in the medical college and shall provide live streaming of college classrooms and the teaching hospital as specified, to enable the Council and Central Government to maintain a constant vigil on the standard of medical education and training being imparted.
