Advisory for induction of trained AYUSH human resources for clinical management of COVID-19
Considering the current situation in the wake of resurgence of COVID – 19, the State/UT Governments are advised to reach out to all qualified AYUSH practitioners and persuade them to join the Covid – 19 workforces in this hour of need. The advisory suggests that deployment of AYUSH physicians, Post Graduate students and interns in clinical set ups for Covid management may be done under the supervision of medical doctors / specialists.

RBI announces On-Tap Term Liquidity Facility to Ease Access to Emergency Health Services.
All banks eligible under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) can participate in the Scheme. Requests from banks desirous of availing funds from the RBI will be subject to availability of funds as on the date of application, i.e., funds cannot be guaranteed in case the total amount of ₹50,000 crore is already availed.
CBDT eases Income Tax norms for cash received by hospitals providing covid treatment.
The provision of section 269ST, states that no person shall receive an amount of Rs. 2 Lakhs from a person in a day; or in respect of transactions relating to one event or occasion from a person, otherwise than by an account payee cheque or use of electronic clearing system through a bank account or through such other electronic mode as may be prescribed.
Government of Odisha notifies provision of food to sick, indigent, destitute persons during the lock-down period.
The Government has directed, the municipal commissioners, collectors and executive officers to take immediate action to identify all such person who have no access to food in rural and urban areas and provide them food.
