The Central Government in furtherance of ongoing vaccination drive has issued Guidance on COVID-19 Vaccination at Work Places (Government & Private) for employees. The employers shall also ensure reporting of all Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI).
FSSAI prescribes new method for Determination of Iron Filings in Tea
This method follows the gravimetric estimation of iron particles using a magnet. This method can be applied to all tea samples for Iron filings.
RBI grants Relaxation in the period of parking of unutilised ECB proceeds in term deposits.
RBI has announced that the unutilised external commercial borrowing (ECB) proceeds drawn down before March 1, 2020, can be parked in term deposits with banks in the country, up to March 1, 2022.
RBI directs lending institutions to put in place a policy to refund interest on interest.
The Lending institutions shall disclose the aggregate amount to be refunded/adjusted in respect of their borrowers based on the above reliefs in their financial statements for the year ending March 31, 2021.
IRDAI issues Draft Guidelines on Trade Credit Insurance.
The new guidelines will open up opportunities to offer credit insurance-backed financing solutions to corporates and MSMEs. Also, changes such as enhanced indemnity of 90% and pre-shipment risk coverage will make the credit insurance product more comprehensive.
SEBI issues circular on regulatory reporting by AIFs.
All AIFs shall submit a report on their activity as an AIF to SEBI on a quarterly basis within 10 calendar days from the end of each quarter in the revised formats.
