RBI extends the Interest Subvention Scheme for MSME Loans for FY 2020-2021

The scheme provides an interest relief of 2% per annum to eligible MSMEs on their outstanding fresh/incremental term loan/working capital during the period of its validity which has been extended till 31st March 2021. Prior to this notification the scheme was to be valid only till 31st March 2020. Furthermore, the coverage of this scheme is limited to all term loans/working capital to the extent of Rs. 100 lakh.

Kerala PCB adopts the Mechanism/ Guidelines for Control of Pollution and Enforcement of Environment Protection Norms

The Guidelines highlight the major environmental issues related to marriage or banquet halls and party venues. These venues are attributed with the creation of air, water and noise pollution, solid waste problems and public inconveniences due to a lack of adequate infrastructures. To combat these environmental issues the Guidelines set out mechanisms such as installation of Effluent Treatment Plants, effluent discharge norms for hotels, energy conservation measures, solid waste management measures, noise pollution, etc.

IRDAI issues additional guidelines on portability under Health Insurance policies

The additional norms on portability of health insurance include that the Members of an indemnity based group health insurance policy offered to account holders of a bank are allowed portability of their coverage to another indemnity based group health insurance policy offered by a different insurer to the account holders of the same bank.
