FSSAI directs manufacturers of infant foods that do not comply with the standards to obtain approval under FSS (Approval for Non-Specified Foods and Food Ingredients) Regulations, 2017
The infant foods which do not comply with the standards under FSS (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011 shall be required to seek approval under FSS (Approval for Non-Specified Foods and Food Ingredients) Regulations, 2017 prior to seeking an FSSAI license.
SEBI extended the time for sharing information by listed companies relating to System driven disclosures
SEBI has informed the Exchange that the time for sharing the information relating to System driven disclosures with designated depository shall be extended till September 30, 2020 .
Clarification on scope of defense of due diligence available for FBOs
The advisory clarifies that the defense of lack of due diligence of another provided under section 80B of the act cannot be invoked in case of default of an employee or agent of the defendant. Thus that defense cannot be invoked by any FBO against prosecution for furnishing false information.
