FSSAI clarifies the labelling requirements under FSS Regulations and mandated their compliance
The FSSAI draws attention to the fact that FSS (Food or Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Foods for Special Dietary Use, Foods for Special Medical Purpose, Functional Foods and Novel Foods) Regulations, 2016 themselves prescribe labelling provisions for specific categories of food products. FSSAI also reiterates that these food products must comply with general labelling requirements specified in the FSS (Packaging and Labeling) Regulations, 2011.
Government of Odisha issues guidelines to private hospitals with 30 or more beds to provide COVID-19 treatment
The private hospitals shall designate a minimum of 10% beds to be reserved for Covid-19 patients with an option to convert the entire hospital as a COVID hospital.
DGFT amends the import policy conditions for certain organic chemicals and other chemical products

IRDAI dispenses with physical signatures on proposal forms
The decision to dispense with physical signature requirement for acceptance of proposal forms is being allowed on an experimental basis with immediate effect till December 31, 2020, and is limited to pure risk products.
West Bengal issues instructions to beneficiaries of the FAWLOI Scheme
The Notice states that financial assistance will be provided to the Workers of Locked Out Industries under the (FAWLOI) Scheme. the beneficiaries shall recieve the assistance for the period from April 2020 to September 2020. This shall be available to eligible persons based on Self-Declaration. This Self-Declaration must be made in the prescribed format through e-portal or registered post.
