SEBI notifies the SEBI (LODR) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2020
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has notified the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2020. The Regulations were notified on 5th August, 2020 and are effective from the said date.
TNERC publishes draft amendment to the TNERC (Terms and Conditions for determination of Tariff) Regulations, 2005
Tthe draft amendment to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for determination of Tariff) Regulations, 2005 provides a period of 30 days therefrom for objections or suggestions from the general public. The amendment deals with the provisions governing power generating biomass plants.
Government of Rajasthan extends the due date for submission of quarterly returns in FORM VAT-10
Rajasthan Government has extended submission of quarterly returns in FORM VAT-10, for the quarter ended on March 2020, till 30th September, 2020.
Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Liquidation Process) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2020
The Amendment is brought under regulation 4 which deals with liquidator’s fee. It is clarified that where a liquidator realizes any amount but does not distribute the same, he shall be entitled to a fee corresponding to the amount realized by him. Where a liquidator distributes any amount, which is not realized by him, he shall be entitled to a fee corresponding to the amount distributed by him.
Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Voluntary Liquidation Process) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2020
The corporate person shall appoint an insolvency professional as liquidator and can replace him wherever required through a resolution. The insolvency professional shall, within three days of his appointment as liquidator, intimate the Board about such appointment.
