FSSAI prohibits the sale of health supplement and nutraceutical products which contains Para Amino Benzonic Acid
The FSSAI has directed the commissioners of food safety of states/UTs to carry out surveillance and enforcement to ensure compliance of its earlier order which banned use of PABA (para amino benzoic acid) in health supplements and nutraceutical products.
IRDAI directs insurers to settle claims for treatment in a make-shift or temporary hospital
Where a policyholder who is diagnosed as Covid-19 positive is admitted into any such make-shift or temporary hospital on the advice of a medical practitioner or appropriate Government authorities the treatment costs shall be settled by insurers. Where any network provider has set up any such make-shift or temporary hospital, such make-shift or temporary hospital shall be regarded as the extension of the network provider and cashless facility shall be made available.

NPPA fixes retail price for 7 formulations under Drugs Prices Control Order 2013
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority of India on 10th July 2020 has fixed retail prices of 7 formulations under Drugs Prices Control Order 2013, the name of the formulation includes Nebivolol + Telmisartan Tablet, Levetiracetam + Sodium Chloride Infusion, Norethisterone Acetate Tablet etc.

Government of Meghalaya issues public notice on Payment of Wages of Workers during the National Lockdown Period
Private establishments, industries and employers of meghalaya that are amenable to entering into negotiations and settlements with workers/ employees as to the payments of wages for a period of 50 days or any such other period applicable to any particular State during which their industrial establishment was closed due to the lockdown, may initiate a negotiation with their employees’ organisation and shall enter into a settlement with them or if they are unable to reach a settlement, they may submit a request to the concerned labor authorities.
ICMR provides District-wise login credentials for rapid antigen testing for COVID-19
In a further effort to facilitate and further liberalize the testing, lCMR has generated five common login credentials for each district of every State/ UT, which may be shared with all Government and private facilities selected for antigen testing. The States shall nominate a nodal person who shall collect login credentials from ICMR and distribute the same.
NPPA revises ceiling price of Budesonide
The NPPA has revised the ceiling price, exclusive of goods and services tax applicable, for the formulation Budesonide. The revised price for Budesonide for 200mcg Per Metered Dose is Rs.1.76.
