MHA issues new guidelines for Unlock 2
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on 29th June 2020 has issued new guidelines for Unlock 2 to open up of more activities in areas outside the containment zones beginning from July 1, with relaxations in night curfew, provision for more domestic flights and trains, and clearance for more than five people in a shop.
Government of Tamil Nadu extends lockdown till 31st July and the complete shutdown in Chennai and Madurai shall continue till 5th July
The State Government of Tamil Nadu in its press release dated 29th June 2020 has extended the lockdown across the state by another month till 31st July 2020 with partial relaxations as part of Unlock 1.
Jharkhand PCB extends the validity period of consent to operate till 31st July 2020
The validity of Consent/Authorization to operate for those industries having applied for validation or those who have applied for renewal during the time between 31st March 2020 to 30th June 2020 is extended till 31st July 2020.
IRDAI issues timeline for submission of life operational returns in BAP
The due date for life insurers to submit monthly return shall be 8th of the following month and Unaudited quarterly returns shall be filed on 30th day from the end of the quarter and Audited Annual Returns shall be filed on 30th June through Business Analytics Project (BAP) module.
Mohfw issues fresh guidelines for blood transfusion services
As per the second interim of the national guidelines for blood transfusion services, individuals with a history of contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, including those under quarantine, should be deferred from donating blood for 28 days from the last time they came in close contact with a COVID-risk person.
Relaxations in timelines for compliances by the depository participants/ Registrars to an Issue & Share Transfer Agents
SEBI has provided that for processing of the demat request form by Issuer / RTA, Processing of the demat request form by the Participants, Redressal of investor grievances, Transmission of securities and for Closure of demat account the period of exclusion shall be from March 23, 2020 till July 31, 2020 and 15-day time period after July 31, 2020 is allowed to Depository /DPs, to clear the back log.
SEBI extends the timeline for implementation of Guidelines for Portfolio Managers by 3 months
The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its notification dated 29th June 2020 has extended the timeline for the implementation of SEBI Circular dated February 13, 2020 on ‘Guidelines for Portfolio Managers’ by three months to 1st October 2020 in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.

The application can be used by waste generators, waste handlers, waste treatment facilities and pollution control boards for waste tracking. All Biomedical waste generator entities are mandated to register using the Application.
