FSSAI Operationalizes Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2020
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India(FSSAI) vide notification dated 27th March 2020 has operationalized some of the provisions of Food Safety and Safety (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2020. They are related to testing, fee allocation, authorities and method.
SEBI relaxes compliance requirements for FPIs
The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its Notification dated 30th March 2020 has temporarily eased the processing of documents for Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) till June 30, 2020. SEBI has decided to grant the relaxations in a situation where FPIs are not in a position to send original and/ or certified documents due to outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic.
Labour ministry eases rules for withdrawal from EPFO accounts to deal with Covid-19 pandemic
The Ministry of Labour and Employment vide its Gazette Notification dated 27th March 2020, has allowed the members of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to withdraw a portion of their retirement savings with immediate effect to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
FSSAI’s lays down SOP to issue licenses offline
FSSAI via notification dated 27th March 2020 has issued a Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) for issuance of offline licenses and registrations. The SOP has been issued after noticing several internet shutdowns which lead to non accessibility of the FSSAI site.
