The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has issued direction to the chairman of State pollution control board to strictly implement the Batteries (Management and handling) Rules, 2001, thereby issuing registration certificate to dealers of lead-acid batteries under the said rules.

RBI Reduces Reverse Repo Rate to 3.75%
The Reserve Bank of India in its circular dated 17th April 2020 has decided to reduce the interest rate on fixed rate reverse repo under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) by 25 basis points from 4.00 per cent to 3.75 per cent with immediate effect. All other terms and conditions under the LAF will remain unchanged.
