The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade in its circular dated 11th April 2020 has suggested the Home Ministry to allow limited activity in certain sectors such as heavy electricals, food and beverages industry, local vendors, repair works etc with reasonable safeguards.

FSSAI extends the timeline for submission of Annual/Half yearly return by FBOs
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide its Notification dated 11th April 2020 has extended the timeline for submission of annual return for the financial year 2019-2020 and half-year October 2019-March 2020 till 31st July 2020.
CBIC Orders special drive to expedite custom refunds and drawbacks
The Board issued a directive to all chief commissioners and principal chief commissioners to immediately dispose of all pending refund and drawback claims. This Special Drive shall be in place till 30.04.2020.
BSE Request stock brokers to submit data on clients fund by 16th April.
The Bombay Stock Exchange vide has requested Stockbrokers to submit the data on clients’ funds lying with them on weekly basis based on the last trading day of every week on or before the next three trading days. Data for for the week ended April 09, 2020, to be filed by April 16, 2020.
Extension of last date for public comments on Draft Companies (CSR Policy) Amendment Rules, 2020
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide its public notice dated 9th April 2020 has extended the last date for submitting the comments on the draft Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Amendment Rules, 2020 till 20th April 2020, considering the lockdown due to COVID-19 and requests received from various stakeholders. Ministry of Home Affairs directs states to ensure movement of cargo, trucks & workers and functioning of warehouse/cold storages
The Ministry of Home Affairs on 12th April 2020 has directed all states to implement the lockdown guidelines as issued earlier and to ensure the smooth movement of inter and intra-state cargo trucks, workers and also the functioning of warehouses and cold storages.
