Karnataka Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) (Amendment) Rules, 1961 issued to prioritise Kannadigas in Industrial Employments

The Government of Karnataka issued a notification amending the Karnataka Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules 1961, which facilitate priority/preferential appointments of Kannadigas, who are Indian citizens and are residing in Karnataka for not less than 15 years and are able to read, write and speak Kannada language, in industrial establishments subject to suitability, qualification, experience and other requirements.

FSSAI extends the time limit for renewal of an existing license under the proprietary category till 30th June 2020

In its previous circular the Food Business Operators who were holding license for “Proprietary Food” where directed to get the existing license modified to a category of “formulated supplements for children” before the renewal of the existing license. Therefore FSSAI has extended the time limit till 30th June 2020 for the renewal of existing license under proprietary category for such products.
