SEBI makes it mandatory for top 1000 listed companies to submit Annual Business Responsibility report.
SEBI in its Notification dated 26th December 2019, has published the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2019 by making it mandatory for top 1,000 listed companies to prepare Annual Business Responsibility report, covering their activities related to environment and stakeholder relationship.
Medium Risk factories in the state of Telangana shall now apply for online self-certification under Low Risk factory category.
The Department of Factories, Telangana in its latest new column has requested all Medium Risk category factories to apply for Self-Certification through their online portal (tsfactories.cgg.gov.in) to come under the category of Low Risk factory.

MCA extends due date for filing E-form No. BEN-1 & BEN-2
The date for filing E-form No. BEN-2 without payment of additional fee is extended to 30.3.2020. In consequence the date for filing Form BEN. 1 shall be construed accordingly.

Karnataka Pollution control board has modified list of Re-categorization of industry
The Karnataka state pollution control board vide its Notification dated 21st December 2019 has added new industries to the re-categorization of industries. Earlier the central pollution control board has issued directions on re-categorization of industrial sectors into red, orange, green and white categories.
FSSAI Enhances Surveillance, Sampling and Enforcement to Check Use of Syrups in Honey.
FSSAI has directed all the state commissioners of food safety to carry out surveillance, sampling and inspections of the premises of honey manufacturing or processing units to check for the presence of the golden syrup/rice syrup in honey periodically and to submit the action report.
