SEBI Strengthens rating process in respect of INC ratings.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India in its Circular dated 3rd January, 2020 has issued directions on strengthening the rating process of the CRAs with regard to instance where the issuer is not cooperating, which provides for measures like withdrawal of rating and down grading.
Medical devices notified by health ministry shall be considered as drugs till 1st April 2020.
The Ministry has extended the timeline for taking effect of the notification according to which the list of devices that was notified has to to be considered as ‘drugs’, to 1st April 2021.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes vide its Notification dated 3rd January 2020 has extended the last date for taxpayers to avail a one-time facility to apply for compounding of offences under Income Tax Act to 31st January 2020.
