Income-tax (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2019 introduced
CBDT on September 05, 2019, has published the Income-tax (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2019. The amendment covers the procedural formalities and application forms for obtaining a tax exemption under section 10(23C)(iv),(v), (vi) and (via) and section 80G to be effective from 5th November, 2019.
Quick Response code to be affixed with bulk Drug labels
A draft of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 has been published, which mandates a Quick Response code or information readable with software application to be affixed on the label of every pharmaceutical ingredient (bulk drug) manufactured or imported in India.
Prepaid payment instruments RBI Extends deadline to become fully KYC compliant
Prepaid payment instrument issuers were required to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process by August 30, 2019. Extension for the same has been provided on consideration of requests received from various stakeholders
