Odisha SPCB issued public notice to E-waste bulk consumer and Producers
The State Pollution Control Board of Odisha vide notice dated 30th August 2019 has reiterated the responsibility of a bulk consumer of electronic equipment whose turnover is more than one crore or has employed more than 20 employees shall ensure that the e-waste generated by them is channelized through Dealer of authorized producer/ dismantler/ recycler/ service provider. The notice also emphasizes the responsibility of producers.
