MCA notifies revised Form BEN-2
MCA has amended Form No BEN-2 by Companies (Significant Beneficial Owners) second Amendment Rules, 2019 dated 1st July, 2019.
Two changes have been brought in the form. A table has been inserted for entering the number of members through whom indirect holding or right in reporting company is being exercised by each Significant Beneficial Owner [‘SBO’]. Upto nine SBOs can fill the numbers.
Also, a new field for ID of an SBO is provided in the details of member section of the form, for each SBO, with a pre-fill option.
MCA notified new section 406 of Companies Act, 2013 for Nidhi Companies And mutual benefit society
MCA has notified that existing section 406 will be substituted by Section 81 of the Companies Amendment Act, 2017, effective from 15th August, 2019. The definition of Nidhi Company has been changed. Also, provision has been included regarding calculation of 30 days for laying down a draft notification before both Houses of Parliament.
